In order to grow beyond 2GB, a new data file system was developed. This file writing system now enables SD card capacity to grow to massive proportions. This Panasonic 4GB SDHC cards is also rated a Class 2 performace card, meaning the card has a guaranteed read/write speed of at least 2MB/s, the minimum speed set by the SD Card Association to gurantee optimum performance from your digital products.
