i absolutely love this lens! high quality, and made in Japan. the 3x tele zoom on this baby lets me push my olympus sp510 to the limit. i capture outstanding shots and high quality images when switched to picture mode. this is one item i will be sure to bring with me on all my photography and video capturing moments.

As a bird photographer I request only the best accessories for my camera and I mean that! With the birds migrating North again I decided to revamp all my lenses and attachments to expect a good season. Living in Wyoming there are a lot of open areas, sometimes too far or too high to get to..So this 3x telephoto enables me to view my passion with ease and no quality distortion (as in digital zooms), while keeping both feet on the ground! I got more then i expected. Clear shots, no vignetting, only the sweet views of nature. Great lens for even the amateur levels of photography.

One of the best lenses i have ever used, period. I was hesitant at first but once i pooped this bad boy on my Canon i noticed such a difference. What a terrific lens i have no regrets at all using this and the best part is that is comes with a 10 year warranty. Better then most standard 1 and 2 year warranties, although i wish it was lifetime but in 10 years I'll probably have a better lens anyway. \

A very nice lens, works fantastically with my Canon g7, It does show a shadow when using the flash but only when the flash is used. Outdoors on a sunny day i can capture nice images in the far distance.

This lens is great! Crystal clear pictures, absolutely no distortion what soever. I have a Canon Powershot S3 IS, fit like a glove with the purchase of the lens adapter. Once on not only will it give me 3x the zoom (which is fantastic for those closeup shots of birds/nature/animals/safaris) but no blurriness means my shots come out clear all the time. One of the best lenses in my collection!

Being awry of after market companies i decided to purchase this lens after i saw what it did to my brother in laws camera. Wow! This lens really makes a huge difference not only with the standard zoom but when fully zoomed the images appear so close and are crystal clear. I purchased this the day after i saw what it did to his camera and mine being a Sony and his a Canon i saw no difference in the picture. My pictures also came out clear with no distortion at all. A very wise investment.

I own a Lumix FZ 50. This lens was recommended by the CS rep at NWV. I had been waiting forever for the DMW LT55. When I received this lens and popped it on I couldn't believe how clear and vivid the pictures were. This is at 36x (camera has 12x multiply that by 3). Obviously, I was outdoors and it was nice and sunny. I took some really nice shots of some ducks in a pond. I am so impressed with this lens and with the recommendation.
