I went on an African Safari and this lens really came in handy. The guides were very cautious with us when we would pass by the lions and leopards, so we had to maintain a safe distance. Well this lens allowed me to get those much desired National Geographic close ups, without moving far from the jeep. My shots came out wonderful and i was able to keep a safe distance from the pack of lions, without sacrificing the quality of my pictures. Never leaving home without it...or my camera!

Photography is my passion. So naturally, i am up to date on all the latest camera equipment and supplies. I saw this lens for a really great price and after reading a review from "Popular Photography" i jumped on it. It arrived in tack a few days later and the reviews were right; this lens is 5 stars. No dark or blurry spots anywhere in my pictures and in conjunction with the titanium casing it is TOUGH. Not only that but it comes with a 15 year warranty and that is even more amazing.

I eagerly unpacked this lens as soon as it arrived. I put it on my camera and aimed it in my backyard. Oh boy! This lens relishes in the name of "close up" the 2.0x may not seem like a lot but it appears to my eye to be a 3.0 or 4.0x. Whatever the case may be this lens goes above and beyond the standard requisites for it, and the specifications don't give it enough justice. You have to see it to really know what i am talking about. Brilliant!

I wonder if the guys from Sony are green with envy for this lens. I compared it to a genuine Sony lens i have and i noticed the difference...this lens is better! Not only is it made from titanium which is stronger and more resilient than steel but it is amazingly clear. With the help of this lens my shots are now superb. I am a perfectionist, and this lens IS perfection.

This lens is great for any type of photography. I consider myself an intermediate user, but i can see a novice or a professional using this lens. It is built for tough, and it does not feel stingy when you put it in your hand. NWV simply has the best prices.

A true masterpiece of photography equipment. This telephoto lens doubles the range on my Sony, which makes a big difference. It does not have a "cheap" feel to it. It is actually quite strong and rugged. I bought this over the wide angle because i do bird photography and i need all the zoom i can get. A sweet deal.

I bought this in conjunction with the wide angle lens from the same company (30 w). I really like using this telephoto lens because it allows me to snap crystal clear shots with no blurry or dark edges in the shots (I am using a Sony HC8) The glass is coated so it can take some damage without it scratching the lens itself. I give it 5 stars!

What an astonishing telephoto lens! It doubles the zoom on my Sony camera which makes it ideal for use in all types of shots. I use this lens particularly for close ups of notable land marks when i travel. It is made of solid titanium which also makes it almost indestructible.
