As the flagship table top CD player from Pioneer, the CDJ-1000MK2 offers an astounding assortment of high-end performance options. The CDJ-1000MK2 builds on the revolutionary changes that the original CDJ-1000 brought to the digital DJ. Check out killer functions like extended tempo range (±100%), cue markers, digital outs, hot cues and more, the CDJ-1000MK2 is a serious CD player for the cutting-edge DJ. Innovative features include "delay-free scratching" when cueing a song or jumping to a "hot cue." The memory build is instant so you can start scratching immediately. A Cue Marker is set automatically within the center display to visually represent the cue point relative to the jog dial's location, much like vinyl DJs use tape or pen to mark their sample start points. The super "Wide" Pitch Control lets DJs use the ±100 percent pitch control range to create new sound effects from opposite ends of the sound spectrum and also to BPM match completely different tracks. This is in addition to the standard ±6, ±10 and ±16 percent pitch ranges. The full-feature Digital Out function ensures that all of the CDJ-1000MK2's digital features are carried over to any connected digital environment, even scratching and master tempo. And an Extra Bright Display allows the DJ to see the track info more clearly and makes key features brighter. The Hot Cue (sampler) memorizes up to three cue points per CD. These points can then be recalled by hitting either of the A, B or C buttons. This function can also be used like a mini sampler for vocals, stabs or breaks, adding that touch of creativity to any DJ set. The Instant Reverse is controlled by using a flickable switch. With no loss of tempo or pitch, it can be used immediately within any track without having to stop or start. Reverse can also be used with the Hot Cue and the Loop Sampler providing endless combinations and effects. The Reatime Seamless Loop is a quick and simple way to set a loop while a track is playing. Once the loop is set, it can then be looped continuously or until the ReLoop/Exit button is pressed. When released, the track continues playing without any pause. The loop can be re-trigged at any time by hitting the ReLoop button. Another world first from Pioneer - is the ability to adjust both the In and Out points of a loop stored in memory. So now fine tuning a loop is both quick and easy. Loop-In adjust is only available on the CDJ-1000MK2. Hitting the Reloop button instantly takes you back to the beginning of the loop stored in the CDJ-1000MK2's memory. This can be done either while the loop is playing or at any time while the current track is playing. Clever use of Reloop can create some sample like effects. The same loop is always stored in memory until replaced with a new loop. The CDJ-1000MK2 has a memory feature that lets you store Wave Data as well as Cue and Loop points. The data can be stored on a removable memory card (MMC) or the players internal memory. The removable MMC card can also be used in any CDJ-1000MK2, so once you've stored your favorite cue and loop points they're there for life. The CDJ-1000MK2 also has a feature that allows you to duplicate MMC cards. (A 16MB Multimedia Card (MMC) is supplied with the CDJ-1000MK2.) CD Wave data is always saved on to the MMC when inserted and then appears instantly. Once you set a cue or loop point you can save it to either the internal memory or MMC card by hitting this button. Gets rid of those Cue or Loop points that you shouldn't have bothered saving in the first place. The Call function is a quick and easy way to scroll through saved cue and loop points.
