Bought this lens about 5 weeks ago and have taken HUNDREDS of images since.
I can't speak for this lens on other cameras, but I have seen 3 Kodak models produce very nice images with it. It took me minimal time to adapt to the change in focusing. An adapter will be required to fit this lens on your camera luckily it came with a set of adapters.
I'm very pleased with the results I've gotten with this lens and think this is an excellent value, the product performs very well.

Japan is the place to find all the high quality lenses. Avoid lenses made in China at ALL costs. This lens is very worthy for the price due to the crystal clear images it produces, and its exceptional zoom capability. In photography you get what you pay for, as in most other things the higher quality products tend to be reserved at higher prices. Defiantly worth the money.

I bought this lens to take pictures of my children playing soccer. The zoom on my camera was not enough and I came to this site for the Canon 1.5 telephoto. I emailed the availability and if it would work well with my Canon S3. I received a reply in minutes and was recommended this lens as an alternative. It was a great recommendation. The pictures are clear and bright and really sharp. The only negative is that the lens cap is really poorly made. I would suggest buying a UV filter.

I have been a long time buyer of Digital Concepts, and i have yet to run into a problem with them. I purchased this lens kit for my basic photo needs and it does the job wonderfully. It arrived undamaged in just 3 days. It came with a nifty carrying case ( as most of Digital Concepts products come with), anti reflective coating, Lifetime Warranty, and high grade steel so it can withstand an impact. Also what i like about it that most other lenses don't have is its auto focus feature. This way i know the lens is always in focus for those "Kodak Moment" shots. Great product from a great company!

Excellent, excellent lens. 2.5x telephoto allows shots to be "just right", without compromising the picture. Lens produces crystal clear shots and no blurriness. Lifetime warranty and included carrying case is a big plus.

I bought this to use with an Olympus C Z series digital camera. The lenses came packaged with several adapters, lens caps and cloth pouches to carry them in. They are easy to adapt and mount. I found the Telephoto lens to be very good for the money. It does provide extra zoom. Downside is Sakar's Tech support is not responsive. You cannot contact them by phone and their e mail support is "lacking". (To straighten out a blurriness issue i had (which was resolved by the people at NWVDirect) I contacted them with a total explanation of the telephoto problem and offered to send a photo for their review. Overall, though for $168 they are fine. Just be aware that your results will not look like the pictures on their packaging.

Works excellently with my Sony DSC H2 12x zoom.
Definition and clarity are right on. I compared this lens with 4 others
It won hands down.

I purchased this lens to bridge the time until I could buy a more expensive telephoto converter for my Sony Z1 High Definition camera. It bears noting that after about 1.5 to 1.8 magnification of a fixed lens, various issues creep up and into tyhe pictures. This lens viignetted until I got to about 75% of my native zoom, which was fine. At infinity the image became blurry at what I would guess was 2x zoom however at closer distances it stayed in focus.
At extreme zooom the edges were quite soft and there was quite a bit of chromatic abberation. I think this is one of those issues hard to avoid once you get past 1.8 or so.
Though this may sound like a negative review, given realistic expectations, I found this lens accomplished whatI wanted it to do and at a reasonable price. Just don;t expect miracles that physics won't allo and you will be happy.
